Integrative Teaching International (ITI) seeks to collaboratively build and provide dynamic content that embraces innovative and experimental pedagogy, is responsive to contemporary student and faculty needs, accountable to cultural shifts, and advocates for the support of creative and collaborative research. We seek to link theory and practice to support innovative pedagogical approaches to contemporary arts education. Our team of artists, makers, and educators are hard at work and we strive to be responsive, inclusive, supportive, and challenging through our various programs and initiatives. ITI hosts a biennial ThinkTank event through which collaborative research develops the content for our official publication, FutureForward. We also partner with institutions and organizations to produce programming for intensive ThinkCatalyst events, and we connect with our community of educators through our ITI Field Notes initiative and ThinkWire newsletters. ITI seeks to highlight the professional accomplishments of individuals in our field through the Educator Showcase and juried Fellowship recipients. Our board is comprised of arts and design educators representing a range of master and emerging educators and administrators. ITI’s strong roots were fostered by its founding members, and we continue this by reaching out to grow our community of educators, artists, dynamic mentors, dedicated learners, change makers, and advocates.
